EM-Tec multiple stub holders for Hitachi cylinder SEM stubs

EM-Tec multiple stub holders are an economical and practical way to load multiple Hitachi specimen stubs with an M4 thread into the SEM.  Using multiple stub holders saves time, allows multiple sample processing – and allows for quickly comparing samples against each other. The following types are offered:

• EM-Tec H3 multiple SEM stub holders for 3 x Ø15mm Hitachi cylinder stubs
• EM-Tec H3 multiple SEM stub holders for 3 x Ø25mm Hitachi cylinder stubs
• EM-Tec H6 multiple SEM stub holders for 6 x Ø15mm Hitachi cylinder stubs
• EM-Tec H3/45 45° multiple SEM stub holder for 3 x Ø15mm Hitachi cylinder stubs
• EM-Tec H3/45R 45° multiple SEM stub holder for 3 x Ø15mm Hitachi cylinder stubs with adjustable rotation
• EM-Tec H6/45 45° multiple SEM stub holder for 6 x Ø15mm Hitachi cylinder stubs
• EM-Tec H6/45R 45° multiple SEM stub holder for 6 x Ø15mm Hitachi cylinder stubs with adjustable rotation.

Horizontal multiple stub holders are based on Ø25 x 6mm x M4 and the Ø50mm x 6mm x M4 Hitachi stubs and hold multiple stubs using M4 screws. This holder allows for a 45° pre-tilt which is beneficial for table top SEMs without a stage tilt, or to quickly image under 45° without having to tilt the SEM stage. 45° tilted imaging tends to give a higher SE signal and reveals more of the topography of the specimen surface. EM-Tec 45° multi stub holders are offered in two versions:

• Fixed M4 threaded screws to hold Hitachi SEM stubs
• Adjustable rotation M4 threaded screws allow for individual rotation ofHitachi stubs to optimize viewing angle of the sample area
