Nylon woven thread meshes

Micro-Tec nylon woven mesh cloths are useful for sorting, screening, filtration, separation and immersion processes for sample preparation and laboratory applications. This polyamide (PA6) mesh is generally abrasion resistant and can be used at temperatures up to 120°C (compatible with boiling water). Colour is translucent white to opaque. If needed, nylon mesh can be steam, ETO or gamma sterilised. See the chemical compatibility chart for details of chemical resistance.

Features of nylon meshes:

  • Generally good abrasion resistance
  • Smooth surface
  • Wide range of mesh sizes
  • Fair with acids and oxidising agents, good with alkalis and excellent with solvents
  • Easy to cut to size using standard laboratory scissors

Micro-Tec nylon woven meshes are available in 20, 40, 50, ,80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 mesh with dimensions of 30 x 30 or 100 x 100cm.
