PTFE beakers

Micro-Tec PTFE beakers are a safe alternative to glass beakers.  Made from solid, non-porous PTFE they have a smooth finish and a flat base. The spout allows for easy pouring of liquids and helps to minimize spills. PTFE (PolyTetraFloroEthylene) beakers can be used for mixing chemicals, holding or mixing of liquids and chemicals. PTFE is also known under brand name Teflon. Micro-Tec PTFE lab beakers are chemically inert to acids, alkalis, organic solvents and oils – and they are virtually unbreakable and cryo compatible. They can withstand temperatures up to 250C, but hot plates should be used for heating – not open flames. Micro-Tec PTFE beakers are available in sizes ranging from 30 to 100 ml.  Sold individually.
