Vacuum pump acoustic enclosures

silentLab acoustic enclosures have been especially developed to reduce the noise level generated by vacuum pumps and water chillers used with SEMs, TEMs, FIB-SEM and other specimen preparation and analytical systems. If vacuum pumps and/or the water chiller cannot be moved to a separate room, the noise level generated by them can be irritating and distracting. Using a silentLab acoustic enclosure will significantly reduce noise to an acceptable level, allowing operators to concentrate on tasks at hand.

silentLab acoustic enclosures are sophisticated and safe soundproofing boxes which are placed over a noisy vacuum pump or water chiller. They allow for power and vacuum pumping lines, provide cooling and will let the vacuum pump or water chiller operate at full specifications.

silentLab 4, 6 and 7 were originally designed for SEMs, TEMs and FIB-SEM systems, but are equally useful for other systems with noisy rotary vacuum pumps. The silentLab 3 has been specifically designed for smaller pumps used with SEM sputter coaters, EM carbon coaters and vacuum ovens. silentLab 5 is intended for analytical systems with larger, noisy rotary vacuum pumps.
